Ways families use party transport
Birthday surprise
A memorable pickup, short celebration journey or arrival at a chosen venue.
Group travel
Keep friends together instead of arranging several separate lifts.
Family occasions
Suitable for special days out, family events and milestone celebrations.
Which vehicle suits the group?
Numbers decide the vehicle more than anything else. Starlite runs an owned fleet rather than booking through brokers, so the team can tell you what is genuinely free on your date.
8 seater party bus
Smaller friendship groups and younger children’s parties.
12 seater Mercedes party bus
The middle option, and often the best fit for a class-sized group.
16 seater party bus
Larger birthday groups who want to travel together in one vehicle.
Stretch limousines
The Stretch Hummer, Lincoln and GMC Typhoon carry larger groups in limousine style.
Pink Hummer H2
Seats 16 and a popular choice for milestone birthdays.
Every vehicle is chauffeur driven, so no parent has to drive, park or organise lifts.
What the children actually get
- Colour changing mood lighting throughout the interior.
- A premier sound system, so the group can play their own music.
- Full leather interiors.
- Air conditioning.
- Full privacy glass.
The journey becomes part of the party rather than the bit in between.
The part parents want to know about
- Starlite has been trading since 2004 and owns its fleet, so you deal directly with the people responsible for the vehicles and the drivers.
- Chauffeurs are professional and uniformed, and vehicles carry satellite navigation so timings are kept.
- The route, pickup and drop-off are agreed before the day rather than on it.
- Rated Excellent, 4.8 from 78 reviews on Trustpilot.
Birthday party bus hire
A birthday party bus turns the travelling into the event itself.
Whether it is a surprise pickup from home, a loop before the party, a lift to a venue or collection at the end of the night, the group stays together and arrives together. Popular for milestone birthdays, class parties and surprise collections.
Tell the team the child’s age, how many are coming and whether adults are travelling, and they will recommend the right vehicle and quote the journey.

What parents wrote
Quoted from Google and Trustpilot reviews of Starlite Limos, names as published. Some are shortened; the full reviews are on our testimonials page.
“Quick and easy booking process. Turned up on time. The children all had a FANTASTIC time 5*!!”
“Excellent service, 8 seater limo, for a function for my 13 year old daughter. The driver called about 30 min before arrival to advise that he had been held up on the motorway; he actually arrived on time but I was grateful for the communication. The limo was immaculately clean inside and out, soft drinks were supplied for the girls. None of them had ever been in a limo and couldn't stop raving about the experience.”
“Booked a party bus to take my daughter & friends to her birthday party in London. My daughter was blown away! Everything from start to finish was flawless, from getting a speedy quote, to keeping in contact in the lead up to the day, to turning up bang on time and taking us on a lovely drive through central London to the venue, accompanied by music, disco lights, balloons and champagne!”
“Thank you for such a fabulous experience taking my son Jack and his friends to the Taylor Swift concert at Wembley. He was absolutely overjoyed when the limo arrived and our driver Kia was so lovely, friendly and accommodating.”
