Two kinds of corporate booking
Most business bookings fall into one of two groups, and they need quite different planning.
Events, client entertaining and team nights
Taking clients to dinner, a race day or a hospitality event; moving a team between the office, a venue and a hotel; or the office Christmas party. Here the vehicle is part of the occasion, and the job is to get everyone there together and home again at the agreed time.
Executive travel and airport transfers
Getting a director or visiting client to a meeting, a station or an airport, relaxed and on time. These journeys run seven days a week, and the priority is a discreet, punctual service where people can keep working on the way.
What to send for a corporate quote
The date, the pickup address or addresses, the destination, how many people are travelling, the timings and whether you need a return. For events, tell us the venue and what time you expect to finish.

- One quote for the whole job. Outbound, waiting time and return are priced together, so there is no meter running and no surprise afterwards.
- Multiple pick-ups. We can collect from the office, a station or several home addresses and bring everyone to the venue together.
- Discreet, uniformed chauffeurs. DBS-checked, with satellite navigation in every vehicle.
- Drinks on board. Complimentary bubbly or soft drinks are included, which is a good start to a client evening.
- A direct line. You deal with the people who own and run the vehicles, not an agency passing the booking on.
How corporate hire is priced
Each quote depends on the vehicle, the route and distance, the date and how long the vehicle is needed. Weekday daytime work is generally easier to schedule than Friday and Saturday evenings in December or prom season.

Client entertaining
Tell us who is being collected and from where. If the guests are arriving by train, we can meet them at the station and bring them straight to the venue, then return them for a later train.
Team nights and Christmas parties
December Friday and Saturday evenings are the first dates to go. If the office party date is fixed, send it early and we will hold the vehicle once the deposit is paid.
Executive and airport runs
Give us the meeting or flight times rather than just a pickup time. We will work back from them, allow for traffic on the M1, A1(M) and A421, and confirm the collection time in writing.
Corporate journeys we cover
Our vehicles are kept at Arlesey in Bedfordshire, which puts most of the region within easy reach.
We regularly collect from business parks and offices in Milton Keynes, Bedford, Luton, Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Northampton and Cambridge, and run groups into London for dinners, shows and events. Airport transfers and collections are available seven days a week. For an airport run, tell us the flight time and terminal and we will plan the collection point, because terminal drop-off areas are not built for stretch vehicles.

Can you collect people from different addresses?
Yes. We can collect from the office, a station or several home addresses, bring everyone to the venue together and take them home again at the agreed time.
Do you do airport transfers for business travellers?
Yes, seven days a week. Send the flight details and terminal and we will plan the collection point and timings.
How many people can travel together?
Up to 16 in the 16-seater party bus or the stretch Hummer, 12 in the Mercedes party bus, and 8 in the Lincoln or GMC Typhoon stretch limousines. For bigger groups we run vehicles together.
Are you a booking agent?
No. Starlite owns and runs its own fleet, so you deal directly with the people responsible for the vehicles and chauffeurs.
