TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the terms and conditions for Starlite Limos and cover all bookings for party buses, limousines, and any other vehicle made with the company. 

OUR VEHICLES 

Please also note that our party bus is licensed to carry a maximum of 16 passengers. We cannot exceed the number of travelers on any of our vehicles as this would invalidate insurance and break the law. 

CANCELLATIONS 

We understand that sometimes customers need to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. While your £100 deposit is non-refundable, we will usually be happy to issue you with a credit note which can be used against a future booking. This credit note will have a 12 month expiry from the date of issue. We reserve the right to decline to issue a credit note when cancellations are made within fourteen days of the booking however. 

RULES OF HIRE 

We operate a strict no smoking policy in all our vehicles.  The use of drugs is strictly prohibited, if evidence of drug use is found, the hire will cease immediately with no refunds or credit given.

The consumption of food is not permitted in the limousine or party bus. 

We do not supply music.  All music is done via Bluetooth, so make sure your phone is loaded up!

There is a £100 cleaning charge for any member of your group who is sick inside the limousine or party bus, payable in cash to the driver. 

The hirer, as named on the booking contract, shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the hired vehicle by the hirer or any member of his/her party. This includes any incitement to any third party which results in damage to the vehicle or its contents. The hirer will agree to be liable for the total cost of repair. In addition, the hirer will be liable to pay Starlite a fixed daily rate (determined by the company) while the vehicle is out of commission for repair, plus any further incurred losses to the company, ie. lost bookings. 

The company or its representative (the driver) reserve the right to refuse entry to the vehicle to any person/persons deemed unfit for whatever reason and can refuse to continue the journey if any person/persons behave in a manner which the company/representative may feel detrimental to other persons or to the vehicle and it contents. In this case, no refunds shall be given. 

Any alterations to the booking after the original booking is made (for example, additional pick-up points, changes of destination causing extra mileage and time), cannot always be accommodated and may involve extra charges being levied on the original quotation. Additional drop offs on the night will be charged at £25 each for local drop offs (within the same town or within a 5 mile radius of the booked drop offs). This money should be paid to the driver in cash on the night. 

If you are late for your pick-up time, we allow a grace period of 15 minutes: any additional waiting time will be charged at £60 per half hour for 8 seater vehicles. For 12 and 16 seater buses, our H2 and 17 seater hummer the charge will be £125 per half hour. Our 24 seater party bus will be £200 per half an hour. This amount must be paid in cash to the driver on the night. 

All drinks supplied by Starlite Limos are complementary: This is a gift from us to the customer and offered at our discretion.

PLEASE NOTE  

The company cannot accept responsibility for any personal items lost or stolen while the vehicle is under hire. Passengers are responsible for items left in the vehicle and for the cost to return such items (postage cost, for example) after the date of the hire.

The company shall supply the vehicle as set out on the booking confirmation, however, in the unlikely event of an accident or breakdown, whether mechanical or electrical, a full refund will be given only if an alternative vehicle cannot be supplied.  Starlite Limos reserve the right to use multiple vehicles to transport all travelers to your booked destination.

The company accepts no responsibility for adverse weather conditions (for example, snow, flooding, etc) , motorway/road closures or severe traffic jams which may cause delay or cancellation of the booking by the company. In these circumstances, where it is impossible for the vehicle to reach the pick-up address, the company will first try to arrange alternative transportation and, if this is impossible, we will schedule the vehicle hire for an available date of your choosing.

Please note: the party bus does not have a luggage compartment and cannot accommodate suitcases. Please mention if you have luggage when you book your airport/hotel run and we can arrange a separate luggage vehicle as necessary. This will be an additional charge.

Once a booking is made and the booking confirmation signed, the price quoted to the hirer will not be subject to alterations unless there is any amendment to the original details of the booking by the hirer. No deposits will be refunded.  Once the email confirmation is sent, it is the sole responsibility of the customer making the booking to ensure that all details are accurate and correct. If any details are incorrect, you must contact Starlite Limos within 48 hours to request an alteration. Abuse of any kind to the driver will not be tolerated and hire will be terminated immediately with no refunds given.

For any prom hires, the hire will be terminated immediately should any children or adults be found trying to place alcohol onto the vehicle. No refunds wil be given.

Starlite Limos shall be known as the “company” and the person named and/or the person signing the booking confirmation shall be known as the “Hirer”. It will be deemed that the hirer accepts responsibility for him/herself and every person in his/her party fully agrees to the condition of hire as set out above.
