This policy explains what personal information Starlite Limos collects when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you have. We keep it short and in plain English. If anything is unclear, just ask.
Who we are

What we collect
- Enquiry and quote details you send through our forms, by phone, email, WhatsApp or social media: your name, phone number, email address, the occasion, dates and times, pickup and drop-off addresses, number of passengers, the vehicle you are interested in and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Booking details if you go on to book: the journey details above, payment records and any notes needed to carry out the booking.
- Email list details if you join our list or tick the box on a quote form: your name, email address and a record of when and where you signed up.
- Website usage information, only if you accept cookies: pages visited, how you arrived at the site (for example from a Google advert) and whether you contacted us. This is collected by Google Analytics and Google Ads and does not tell us who you are.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, quote and carry out your booking. We need this information to take the steps you have asked for before a booking and to provide the service once booked.
- To send marketing emails about seasonal events, new vehicles and offers, only where you have agreed to receive them. Every email has an unsubscribe link and you can also ask us to stop at any time.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising, only if you accept cookies in the banner.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping accounting and tax records.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We only share it with the people and services that help us run the business:
- our own chauffeurs and staff, to carry out your booking;
- our website host (20i), which stores the website and form enquiries;
- Google, for website analytics, advertising measurement and the reCAPTCHA spam check on our forms;
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp), if you contact us through those services;
- the email service we use to send our email list, when we send one;
- our accountant, and authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers, such as Google and Meta, may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use the legal safeguards required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
- Website enquiries are deleted automatically after 24 months.
- Booking and payment records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, usually six years.
- Email list details are kept until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address on a suppression list, so we do not email you again by mistake.
Cookies
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. Essential cookies keep the site and forms working. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used if you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Email info@starliteuk.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
