Where a Cambridge party bus night usually goes
Cambridge is a short run up the A1 and A428 from our yard, and the villages around it are exactly the sort of places where nobody wants to be the designated driver. The bus collects from home, does the rounds and brings everyone back.
Cambridge city centre
Regent Street, the Market Square bars and the riverside. We drop on the edge of the core and it is a short walk; we collect from an agreed point at the end of the night.
Newmarket races
Race days and the summer evening meetings. Coach parking is easy, the bus waits, and the drive home is the best part.
Ely, St Neots and Huntingdon
Town nights out, pub crawls through the villages and birthday runs into Cambridge from the Fens.
Out to London
Around ninety minutes to the West End from Cambridge. See party bus hire London.
The honest bits about Cambridge
The city core is closed to us
Cambridge restricts the central streets to buses and taxis in the evening, so a party bus drops at the edge, usually Parker’s Piece, Queen’s Road or the Grand Arcade side, and it is a five-minute walk. We tell you this before you book, not on the night.
Distance
Cambridge is a 40-minute positioning run from Arlesey each way, so the shortest jobs cost a little more than they do in Bedford. Peterborough is further still; we still go, and we quote it honestly.
Balls and college events
May Week and college balls need the bus to wait; book continuous hire and it stays with you.
Timings
Cambridge to Newmarket is 25 minutes; St Neots to Cambridge is 35. We quote generously on the outward leg.
