The grid roads make this the simplest town we drive
Most towns in our area were laid out before anyone imagined a thirty-foot vehicle. Milton Keynes was not.
Dual carriageways, generous roundabouts and turning space almost everywhere mean a 16-seat stretch Hummer can go where the passengers actually want to go, rather than to a compromise point nearby. Groups in Bedford or Northampton often have to meet us on a through road. In Milton Keynes we can usually collect from the door.
There is one exception worth stating plainly: a stretch Hummer will not go into a multi-storey car park. Height and length both rule it out. Eight seats rather than sixteen. If your group is nearer ten than twenty, this is usually the more sensible and better-value answer, and it is easier to place on a residential street in Bletchley, Wolverton or Newport Pagnell.
